Such a magical spot to go glamping with girlfriends! This tent fit 4 women comfortably and was located closest to the bathrooms - which were very clean (+ we all left wishing for an outdoor shower haha) While there was AC, it was still warm at the peak of the day, but nothing that can be done about that. It was plenty cool to sleep. Otherwise loved the space, the grounds, and the nearby attractions including the lake and Flat Creek Winery!

Always a great time. I was here when the bluebonnets looked like a field of water, and I’m glad to see they haven’t quite mowed yet and they’re letting the bluebonnets go to seed for next year. The tents are always very clean and look exactly like the photos. Owner is always good about responding and answering any questions I’ve ever had.

We had a great time here! With the holidays and work, we truly needed this break away from our phones and the day to day stressors. From the stars to being able to relax in her beautiful tents. Everything was there and if needed. Staff were quick to assist!! Definitely would love to comeback and rent the whole property with loved one or friends. Very quiet and peaceful! Come experience a different type of camping! Just make sure to bring flashlights!!

Loved, loved, loved this glamping location! It far enough removed from town where it feels like a getaway, but not so far where we couldn't drive out to get the things we needed. Space was both clean AND beautiful, and the view was breathtaking (coming from the NW that says a lot). Really appreciated the fact that there were only 3-4 tents, so the glampground isn't too crowded, even at full capacity, but we were there during the slow season, so we practically had the place to ourselves! The biggest thing honestly that made the experience for us was the owner's proactive communication, making sure we were comfortable, and had what we needed. There were a few minor technical difficulties, particularly with the indoor heater, but the owner was so kind and intentional in staying up late into the night to help us troubleshoot things, and even send help to make sure we were able to fix the problem! Would 100% come back again, and maybe even make it a regular getaway spot for us!

Words cannot describe how amazing our weekend was here! We were in need of a break from the city and this was the perfect place for it. The Grand Tesoro tent was everything and more. Cozy, clean, breathtaking, comfy, and super cute. We brought our own kitchen gear so we only used the fridge there. It was nice to see that the drawers had individual home names and that there were sharable things like Ketchup and Mayo. We explored a little and were amazed at how beautiful the land was. Don't forget flip-flops for showering and maybe a headlight or similar for restroom visits at night. The little casitas are cute here and we'll be back to try Grand Aztec for that fantastical view! Oh, and it was great to meet the owner, she was very friendly and sweet! I get that the price is a little high but it's completely worth it for the peaceful time you'll have. Book now, promise you won't regret it!

This property is exactly as wonderful as it looks in the pictures. It was a really nice place to hang out and disconnect from the world for a few days. We brought our dog, and that worked out well, too. Shannon is a great host - communicative without being intrusive. If you’re considering staying here, I recommend you just go ahead and book it.

Shannon’s property is amazing. Truly a glamping paradise, our tent/cabin stayed very tolerable even in 100 degree weather. The property has every amenity you could want while camping. The beds were amazingly soft and the tents were so cozy, so many blankets! We’ll definitely be returning as it cools off a bit so we can spend even more time exploring the property. My fiance is 6 months pregnant so regular camping was not in the cards but having a flush toilet, running cold and hot water, and a grill for cooking made this trip perfect. 10/10 will stay again!

The common areas were great. I was concerned about sharing a bathroom with three other tents but it wasn’t an issue - the bathroom was clean and I never had to wait.

It’s a major bonus that there are provided games and even kayaks/SUP/life jackets/noodles/car straps for transport.

EXCEPTIONAL Texas Hill Country Glamping Experience! Our family stayed four nights in one of the three large tents. We loved it and cannot wait to return. The tents were clean, beautiful and a perfect place to relax. The property was located on a beautiful hilltop overlooking the hill country. We can not recommend it enough!

WOW. The view is just as stunning as the photos! We loved being able to enjoy nature in the comfort of a cooled tent in the middle of the summer heat! Little details made the stay fun and interesting, from the indoor hammock, nearby walking trails, and the lanterns that magically lit up at sundown. Shannon was super responsive and proactive in checking in. She kindly allowed for an early check in as well. Worth it to get away from the City with only a 1 hour drive!

Truly one of a kind experience, in a peaceful Texas setting. The concept was well executed; camping with added comforts like a/c and a king size bed. The tent was well done, minimalist but comfortable, tidy, and beautiful views of the sunrise.

It was cold and rainy when we went, but the fireplace kept us super warm. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully placed in terms of location/view. Great version of “glamping” for all of us! Tents were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Tons of solar lanterns give the place character at night and they also provide rechargeable lanterns to light your path. We will be back one day. Great family experience. Incredible weekend getaway from Austin. Beautiful tent that is comfortable, clean, and connected with the outdoors. The views are INCREDIBLE and the grounds offer several different places to sit back, relax, and take them in. We took advantage of the grill to cook meals, but others on the property at that time were able to get takeout from restaurants in the general area.
Descriptions on listing were all accurate and the host, Shannon, was incredibly responsive. Can't say enough good things about the experience. We hope to make it back at some point.

This place is EXCEPTIONAL! It felt like a cozy little cabin feel when I walked in, and then I was immediately transported to a cozy, glam tree house when I turned the corner to see the giant windows and trees. The site was so quiet and remote - honestly the best vacation rental I've ever stayed. I will 100% be back!

The bathroom and shower is completely separate, but they were clean and perfectly functional. The little tank/pool is SO refreshing after the walk to get there, and the view it provides is breathtaking.

If you are debating coming here - DO IT!!!

Owner was a great host. place was relaxing, river is just down the road and stay has canoes and paddle boards you can use. You do have to pay $5 for river access but it's worth it. I have already recommended this stay to friends and family. We will be staying here again in the future.

My husband and I spent our 10 Year Anniversary at Talula Mesa and we had an unforgettable experience. The views were immaculate and we even took a hike down into the trails. If you’re looking to be immersed in nature, this is great for you. It’s about 30-45 mins out from everything and it’s a very intimate setting. Highly recommend!

We had an incredibly peaceful time. The cabin was as cozy as it gets. The campgrounds were serene. We enjoyed making fires and cooking outdoors. If you’re looking to cut out the noise of your day-to-day, chill among nature, but also be close enough to a nearby town (marble falls or lago vista) in case you need it, this is the place to be.

My husband and I needed a night away from our young kids to simply be present with each other and relax. The Grand Arrow tent was an amazing escape. The view was incredible, the tent was extremely cozy, and the overall feel was peaceful and refreshing. We didn’t love the short walk in the dark in 30 degree temps to the bathroom, but the lanterns and warm fuzzy robes made it more enjoyable and we had fun with it. We were glamping after all! And the tent held heat extremely well so we were able to warm back up quickly. Overall, we would definitely stay here again! It was exactly what we needed to start off the new year!

We were in the Grand Arrow Tent for one night and it was wonderful. The site looks exactly like the pictures and owner was great. She accommodated us with an earlier check-in and recommended a few hikes and lake access to visit. We were the only occupied tent so we did not mind the shared bathroom and shower (note that the two showers are separated by a thin curtain). We had an amazing barbecue supper and the kitchen had everything we needed (oil, spices, utensils, plates). The only thing is that the tent can't lock. We still felt super safe and it didn't affect us because we only booked for one night but to keep in mind there's a safe and you can lock things in your car like regular camping. The views are breathtaking and it was extremely peaceful. Would 10/10 recommend and rebook!

Everything was lovely. I surprised my wife & we spent our 6 month marriage anniversary here.

It was exactly what we needed.
From the drive there, to the scenery when we pulled up & when you go into the tent it’s just refreshing. The grounds are kept nicely, flowers in bloom, it exceeded our expectations.

If you are looking for a romantic yet adventurous getaway, the Mini Aztec wooden tent is for you!
My GF and I spent a weekend here and we had a blast. We drove from Austin and arrived to this little place surrounded by gorgeous hills and a million dollar view right outside of your tent.
We loved how close it's to the lake (we spent so much time there), the amenities are really cool, in fact, one of my favorites was the outdoor showers! They have hammocks, swings, paddle boards/kayaks, a grill for some burgers ;)... in summary, they have everything you need for a great scape! Thank you, Shannon & Talula Mesa for all of your help!
